Dumaguete Series | Terrace (Cecilia) Despite the many flies that buzz their way around us we eat outside and sometimes, just like malunggays, prepare food or ingredients inside the so-called terrace. Filipino houses have terraces while Americans have porches. We call them terays – ok. We hang out there too on early mornings with coffee in hand and during late nights also with coffee in hand.
